CORRECTING SYSTEMATIC MUSCULOSKELETAL DYSFUNCTIONS IN THE BODY

WHAT IS THE FLOW STATE?

FLOW STATE:

The ability to continuously and efficiently flow through systematic movement patterns free of restrictions, dysfunctions, and pain.

3 PILLARS OF FLOW

BONE

Bones are essential for functional movement as they provide structural support, protection for vital organs, and leverage for muscle-driven motion. Bones act as levers in tandem with muscles and joints, amplifying force and facilitating controlled movement. They also contribute to joint stability, house bone marrow for blood cell production, store minerals like calcium, influence posture and balance, and are vital for long-term mobility.

FASCIA

A super highway of connectivity encasing skin, nerves, muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, bones, and internal organs. This highly innervated material is an incredible asset to the body. It aides and facilitates in efficient functional movement and flow throughout the body. Yet if damaged, it will act as an Alarm System, alarming the body of dysfunction and inhibition via pain perception signaling. The fascia will also coordinate in a specific systematic shut down of movement as a proactive mechanism to limit possible further injury to the areas involved.

MUSCLE

The display system of the body carrying an immense amount of information into your functional health. Muscles play an interconnected role between the fascia and bone and will systematically inhibit or activate according to ones functional state. The muscles are largely dependent on the function of the fascial system for feedback and movement.
